KEC HR uses REST APIs for communication between its Vue 3 frontend and Laravel backend. Authentication is managed through Laravel Sanctum, while user permissions are enforced at the server level. The system supports uploading, storing, and downloading documents in PDF, Word, Excel, and ZIP formats, as well as automatically generating contracts, payslips, and administrative reports. KEC HR also enables structured data exports for banks, the Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK), and QuickBooks, simplifying information exchange and administrative workflows. For internal communication, the platform includes in-app notifications, with optional email and WebSocket support through technologies compatible with Laravel Echo and Pusher.
